It can't be received if no DVB-T2 device is available. If a transponder is marked as DVB-T2 TransEdit will automatically use a DVB-T2 device for receiving it (see hardware related changes above). Added: DVB-T2 checkbox for DVB-T transponders. ![]() The upcoming next GE release will be able to handle DVB-T2 in the same way as TransEdit 4.0.3. If TransEdit is part of a DVBViewer GE installation the DVB-T2 flag is exported because DVBViewer GE simply ignores it. Extended DVB-T2 support covering MPLP will be added in future releases. If TransEdit is part of a DVBViewer Pro installation, the DVB-T2 flag is not exported because DVBViewer Pro would refuse to tune such channels. Please note: DVBViewer is not yet able to process the new DVB-T2 information in scan results exported by TransEdit 4.0.3. Changed: The DVB-S2/T2 checkboxes are now located close to the Tuner Type dropdown list to which they are related. TransEdit automatically checks / unchecks it on "Detect Devices" according to the information in its hardware database. Added: DVB-T2 checkbox for DVB-T2 devices. Fix: RTSP adjustments fixing timeout issues and problems with servers that don't fully comply with the SAT>IP standard. When TransEdit is launched it checks the device availability and listens for WM_DEVICECHANGE messages henceforth. Please note: The two enhancements described above only apply to BDA devices, not to TechniSat devices with WDM driver. Enhanced: If a currently used USB device is removed (without using "Safely Remove Hardware" that wouldn't allow it), TransEdit immediately cancels all activities depending on this device and prompts you to not do it again. Additionally the device list now displays such devices in red. Previously unusable devices had to be deleted or set to "Don't use" in order to avoid an "initialization failed" error message. Enhanced: TransEdit does not try anymore to access devices that have been removed (USB) or deactivated in the Windows device manager, but automatically looks for another suitable device. Previously this could lead to a memory leak. Fix: TransEdit rejects the attempt to delete a currently used device from the device list. Fix: Changing the "Stop stream while tuning" and "Open whole transponder" settings did not take effect in TransEdit 4.0.2. Please review this Knowledge Based article for further information for confirming your hostname.TransEdit 4.0.3 Beta (with additional features, SAT>IP and special DVB-T2 support) is available im the members area, beta section: It includes all changes listed above for the 3.9.3 release plus the following: ![]() An email will also be sent twice before the hostname enters redemption. You can manually update your host by logging into your account and clicking update. In order to keep your No-IP Free account active (even if your IP address has NOT changed), you must confirm your hostname every 30 days. Please note that updates on your hostname do not confirm them. Your IP address must change for an update to be logged in the update server. Updates are only recognized when your IP address changes from your Internet Service Provider, not when it is different from what the host is currently set to. If you are using our Linux client, be sure you are only trying to update one hostname, or a GROUP of hostnames (see the README.FIRST for more information on this). If you are using the Windows or Mac version of our Dynamic Update Client, be sure you have placed check marks beside the hosts you would like to keep updated.
